Our commitment to a sustainable future
Sustainability is not a trend but a responsibility. For Omlog, it is a daily commitment that shapes every aspect of our operations: from energy efficiency and renewable power, to people development and transparent decision-making.It is about more than the environment. It is a growth model built on innovation, operational discipline, and a positive impact on the communities where we operate. That’s why we set measurable ESG targets and dedicate resources to ensure progress can be tracked and improved. For us, sustainability means building lasting value — for clients, for people, and for the market.
ENVIRONMENTAL Clean energy powering sustainable logistics
At Omlog, environmental responsibility means turning commitments into measurable results. In 2024, photovoltaic systems across 8 hubs generated over 2.38 million kWh, with capacity set to reach 3,294 kW by 2025. The network is expanding with new plants, including an innovative project with Green Independence. Even as warehouse space grew by 74%, energy consumption per square meter fell from 53.96 to 35.89 kWh thanks to automation and advanced technologies. Our fleet includes 47 electric vehicles powered by solar energy, while optimized routing cuts fuel use and emissions. We have also replaced nearly 700,000 cartons with reusable crates, saving paper, plastic and avoiding empty transport.
SOCIAL Building inclusion, wellbeing and opportunity
Sustainability also means investing in people. Omlog employs 188 people, 86% on permanent contracts, with women representing 52% of the workforce and one quarter under 30. In 2024, more than 3,200 hours of training were delivered in safety, languages and soft skills, supporting both growth and development. Health and wellbeing are promoted with initiatives such as free cancer screening in partnership with local clinics.
GOVERNANCE Standards that strengthen trust
Omlog’s governance is grounded in ESG principles, combining ethics, transparency and innovation. Our activities are supported by a Code of Ethics, anti-corruption policies and a whistleblowing system, with active reporting in 2024. International certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, SSAE 18, AEO and others guarantee compliance, safety and reliability. Across our buildings, 23 warehouses hold sustainability certifications, including BREEAM Good, a BREEAM Excellent hub in the UK and a LEED Gold site in Reggio Emilia. The goal is to extend these standards across the network, ensuring long-term value for territories, partners and stakeholders.
